The Projectionist, even without the projector, has wires connected throughout his body and a speaker embedded into his chest, which would make it easy to link the animatronic’s parts to him to revive him - or to harvest parts from his body to fix the animatronic. On top of that, it’s literally in pieces, so it’s clearly not finished yet as Lacie’s tape implies. However, the question is… how? There’s clearly nothing inside of it or controlling it right now, and Tom Boris had no trouble taking the thing’s arm (that we know of). It’s pretty obvious this thing’s gonna move sooner or later - otherwise the game wouldn’t have an entire tape pointlessly dedicated to it that talks about it moving. The one thing that I could think of that would fit these requirements? One is Alice Angel, his rival, and the other might possibly be her creation. Both are dead at the moment, but Bendy clearly has a use for them that seems to go beyond simply reviving them normally. So we have two corpses currently (who knows, Bendy might acquire more in 5). This means Bendy has not one, but two bodies on hand. It’s made pretty clear that the Lost Ones don’t like Alice…įollowing Sammy’s general “sacrifice people to Bendy in order to have him notice you and set you free” idea, it’s likely Alice’s corpse was also offered up by the Lost Ones to Bendy. However, it might not only be his corpse Bendy has. In other words, B endy wants something to do with his corpse specifically - or wants to modify it in a way that doesn’t involve a projector.

However, that would make decapitating him pointless. Here’s the thing: Because it’s implied that no ink creature can truly die, it would be fairly easy to revive Norman if Bendy gave him some type of new head. So during Chapter 4, Bendy offs The Projectionist and then drags his body off… somewhere. (Disclaimer: This is mostly just guesswork, as I don’t have a lot of solid evidence pointing to one answer.
